Lamadameaveclechien presents an eclectic concert night:
The Crappy Miniband (LMALC – BE) www.myspace.com/crappyminiband
This band was born out of the idea to make sounds out of little toy instruments. The Crappy Miniband loves to explore the possibilities and diverse sounds of their tiny instruments. Spaced out improvisations, experimental punk, eclectic pop, twisted disco and noisy madness.
The Crappy Mini Band have released a first demo in spring 2008, and played in many venues in Belgium, the Netherlands and Spain. In March 2008 they also had a successful tour in Japan, passing Tokyo, Kyoto, Nagoya, Osaka and Kobe.
The bands principle members:
- Lynn Cassiers (voice, effects)
- Nico Roig (toy guitars, casiotone , omnichord, effects and objects)
- Pak Yan Lau (toy piano’s, toy accordeon, flutes,
casiotones, effects, toys)
- Giovanni Di Domenico (toy drums, percussion, toys)
- Daysuke Takaoka (tuba)
The band will release their first official album on Lamadameaveclechien in early 2010!!
Primitiv vs. DJ Slump (Online Beatbox World Vice Champion)

Primitiv is a Human Beatboxer who pays a lot of attention to the eclectism in his shows. Hip hop, jazz, electro, house, dubstep or drum and bass every style is welcome.
With only voice and mouth as instruments, he crosses styles while trying to create a futuristic and tribal univers. Instead of having borderlines between styles, he builds bridges inbetween different worlds & cultures.
Pritmitiv has won multiple beatbox contests, such as the France-Belgium contest in december 2008 in Lille and the "J'attaque du mic" contest in Strasbourg in june 2009.
In may 2009 he finished second at the world online beatbox championships.
Primitiv has performed diverse important festivals and gigs such as the Couleur Café Festival (biggest festival of the belgian capital) and the Mirano Dirty Dancing Epic Night Club in brussels.
At our gig in January he will present a 30 min showcase along with DJ Slump from France on scratches.
C A R L (Humpty Dumpty Records)

C.A.R.L does it all!! Writing, Illustration, Comics, Screenings and Music! He likes to tell stories through strange and poetical lyrics resulting in a sensitive and funny performance inspired by monstrously human faces he comes across in his daily life.
CARL's band consists of beatmaker Noza, singer and guitar player « Z » aka Jean-Michel Distexhe, composer-drummer-guitar player Emmanuel Coenen, trumpet player Cédric Manche and Pascal Matthey on violin. On stage the band is surrounded by a human-size comic-strip scenery and screenings of CARL's works. In 2008 CARL won the contest « Musique a la francaise » and in 2009 they released their first album "Ou poser des yeux?" on the belgian Humpty Dumpty records.
Ojo (LMALC)

Today's 3 members met first in 1999 when they used to play as "Aïda" together with a trompetist, a sax and a piano player. Four years later the band split up and Ojo was born. Bass, drums and guitar remained.
The powerfull combination focusses on instrumental and psychedelic Math Rock, atypical rhytmic structures meet precise and razor-sharp guitar reefs. Ojo's music works best when played on stage, their concerts are sweaty and exhausting, they convey a stunning energy without giving the audience a chance to breath.
In 2006 Ojo won the Pure Demo contest and reached the semi-finals of the belgian "Concours circuit". In 2009 the promotional EP "Leaving paradise" was recorded and the band is more eager then ever to perform live.
DJ soFa (LMALC)

SoFa started collecting records and dj-ing at the age of 15. In his sets he mostly combines different genres, floating inbetween instrumental/abstract hiphop, dub, IDM, nu-jazz, techno, house and dubstep. Within the last years he got the chance to play all around Belgium, in Ireland, France, Germany, the Netherlands and Switzerland. He shared the stage with influential acts such as: Mouse on Mars, µ-ziq, Freeform, Animals on Wheels, Neil Landstrumm, Dj Rephlex Records, Ark, Rob Hall, Ovuca, Remarc, Ceephax, Errorsmith, Boxcutter, Nautilis, 8FM, Andy Maddocks, Tim Exile, Einoma, Shackleton and others.
SoFa is currently one half of "The Wax Ensemble" and co-runs the newborn label and collective lamadameaveclechien.
