Ojo is a power trio that doesn’t allow concessions. The riffs are razor-sharp, the complex rhythms as precise as incisive and the melody is appreciated through its overwhelming reversals.
More than anything else, Ojo is a group hewn out of the wood of the stage. It’s on stage, in front of the overheated speakers, that the compositions completely come together. The three musicians, seemingly austere, don’t grant the audience any breaks. It smells of sweat and fried brains.
